Gavin works as a researcher and says he is eager to use his skills to scrutinise the council and provide visible opposition. Gavin said: “The impact of Tory cuts has meant parts of this ward has been badly neglected. As a Green Party councillor, I will be putting people first, it’s vital their concerns are heard”.

“My work in trade unionism has taught me the importance of looking after each other and standing up for those voices that have been marginalised. I’m confident in the council I can provide a strong voice that speaks up for people and the environment”.

The Green Party came 2nd in the ward at the last election and are the best option to bring an alternative and fresh voice to the ward.
